Join us for a deeply enriching and exciting Bar and Bat Mitzvah program that takes you through the journey of coming of age, all while exploring the beauty and significance of Jewish tradition.
Together, we will connect with Tradition: Discover our bond with Jewish culture, tradition, and family, and find joy in sharing this experience with fellow Bar and Bat Mitzvah participants.
This program runs Tuesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:00, January 14 – February 25. Dinner is included.

• Introduction Session: get to know yourself, your parents, the synagogue, and your community
JANUARY 28
• Values, Community, and Faith: Delve into the concept of “Tikkun Olam” (repairing the world) and understand the role of values in our lives
FEBRUARY 4
• Tallit, Prayer Book, and Prayer: Learn about the significance of the tallit, the siddur(prayer book), and the art of tefillah
FEBRUARY 11
• Shabbat, Holidays, and Israel: Explore the traditions of Shabbat, Jewish holidays, and the connection to Israel
FEBRUARY 18
• Tefillin and Practical Experience: Gain hands-on experience with tefillin and the art of writing sacred texts (Sifrei Torah, Tefillin, and Mezuzot)
FEBRUARY 25
• Life Cycle and Celebration: Conclude with a special session where participants and parents come together to reflect and celebrate
FEBRUARY 28
• Family Shabbat dinner
